How a .co.za transfer works

  1. You ask us. There is no transfer code to get from your current registrar.
  2. The registry asks the registrant. It emails the domain's registrant, at the address your current registrar holds, to approve the move. Make sure that address is one you can read.
  3. Vote Yes. Open that email and approve. Your current registrar can also approve it.
  4. Done. The domain appears as active in your Hive Data account, and we email you.

Your website and email keep working throughout: a transfer does not change the domain's nameservers. A domain registered or transferred very recently may have to wait before it can move.
